Building society is the main provide of sustainable and affordable mortgage
financing, property management and banking services in Zambia.
The society seeks to recruit skilled, experienced, motivated
and energetic individual to be of a dynamic team to fill the following
Procurement
specialist, ZNBS 6, Head Office, Lusaka
Job purpose:
To effectively manage and coordinate the end to end process
for formal tenders well as implement the best practice police and procedure for
administration and vendor management in line with the police procurement Act of
2008 and the 2011 Regulation.
Duties and
responsibilities
. To assist with preparation of procurement committee paper to
assist with the preparation and issuing of contract documents.
. To assist with contract administration and vendor
. To assist with the preparation of weekly and quarterly
reports for management decision making
. To manage the procurement plan tracking system
. To record for proceedings of procurement committee meeting
and produce minutes
. Supervise the procurement officers.
. Performs any other duties as assigned by the manager
procurement and supplies from time to time
Qualifications and
Experience
. Grade 12 School procedures
. Degree in purchasing and supply or relevant first degree
with post graduate Diploma in purchasing and supplies.
. 2 years’ experience in procurement
. Member of ZIPS
Required
competencies/person qualities
. Knowledge of stores procedure
. Knowledge of handing stocks and storage facilities
. Basic computing Knowledge e.g Word processing Excel and
data bases
. Honesty and dependability
Appropriately qualified and interested candidates meeting
