Zampost Insurance Brokers Limited (ZIBL) is a subsidiary of the Zambia postal services Corporation (Zampost) created as part of the diversification strategy by the holding company Zampost. The company was incorporated in November 2012 with mission to provide highly Insurance broking service. The mission Company is to be the most preferred Insurance broke in the Zambian market. The company’s Vision is to transform into an Insurance company 31st December, 2018.  

PURPOSE OF JOB 
The General is chief Executive officer of ZIBL and shall possess an in-depth knowledge of the insurance market in order to identify and arrange suitable insurance policies in order to arrange optimal cover for clients in collaboration with Insurance with Insurance providers.

 GRADE/RANK 

This is a senior management position at grade ZIBL 1. The work station is Ndola. 
Reporting Line
 The General Manger is chief Executive officer and reports to the Board of Directors for Zampost Insurance Brokers Limited. Key Responsibilities . Identifying and arranging suitable insurance policies and arranging cover for clients
 . Offering insurance products from more than one insurer to ensure that the company’s clients obtain the best deal.
 . Building and Maintaining business relationships with insurance providers and clients. 
 . Researching insurance policies and products to facilitate up to date operating practices in the company 
 . Negotiating policy terms and costs with insurance providers . Ensuring that the insurance premiums are collected
. Preparing reports for insurance underwriter
 .Developing a user- friendly system for advising clients on making claims on their policies
 . To ensure promotion and public awareness for the company’s insurance brokerage services to the   target market in order to generate a sustainable clientele 
 . Ensure that the staff are fully trained to ensure high product knowledge

. Excellent Knowledge of the insurance industry
 . Team player and strong leadership skills

Qualifications and experience
 
 . Degree in a suitable commercial discipline from a reputable university
 . Minimum of 5 years’ experience at a management level
 . Must be a member of the chartered insurance institute . An MBA will be an advantage
