Manager
Location: various Branches
The risk and compliance office involve the planning and
execution of compliance review in branches and supporting branch managers in
the identification.
Assessment and mitigation of risk within the branches and
there operating environment in line with the objective to achieve a robust
Enterprise wide Risk management (EWRM) system among other duties.
Key Responsibilities
1. Document, Insurance and proper of VFZ assets (Motor vehicle/cycle,
financial, fuel etc.
2. Monitoring existence and reporting performance of VFZ portfolio
(client, collateral existing)
3. Recording and reporting emerging and existing risk.
4. Advising on controls and mitigates of emerging and
inherent risk
5. Ensuring complaint handling and lending policies and
procedures are operational
6. Ensuring display of quarter financial statements in the
branch banking hall
7. Reviewing loans files before they are submitted to the
BBC for approval by checking for completeness of loan document as per
compliance and checklist and ensuring that increased re-loaned amounts are
within the allowed threshold
8. Signed off Branch Bank reconciliation statements, daily
cash counts and compliance to all end of day reporting procedures
9. Completeness of all data captured to reflect the days business
transactions
10. Guidance, clarification enforcement of internal controls
and procedures.
Minimum qualification
requirements and competencies
. Minimum Diploma in Accounting/ ZICA licentiate/ ACCA part
qualification part qualified with at least 2 years audit or financial services
work experience
. Excellent oral and written communication skills, good
analytical skills preferably hands on experience with a loan tracking or core
banking system
. Must be a committed Christian
