The
Human Resource Officer will report to the Commissioner for Refugees on all
personnel matters at the Lusaka Head Office and the three Refugee Settlements.
He/she will be responsible for administrative tasks and contribute to making
the organization a better place to work.
Qualifications
and Experience
§
A
full Grade Twelve Certificate or equivalent;
§
Diploma
in Human Resource Management/Public Administration or equivalent;
§
3
years proven experience as a HR officer in a reputable institution;
§
Knowledge
of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development
etc.);
§
Understanding
of labour laws and disciplinary procedures;
§
Proficient
in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus;
§
Outstanding
organizational and time-management abilities;
§
Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills;
§
Problem-solving
and decision-making aptitude; and
§
Strong
ethics and reliability;
