The Health Finance and Governance Officer will
provide technical leadership for an upcoming U.S. government-funded integrated
health system project. The project aims to improve the capacity of the public
health system to sustainably deliver quality reproductive, maternal, newborn,
child, and adolescent health and nutrition services (RMNCAH&N) across four
provinces of Zambia. The project will operate over a five-year period. The
Health Finance and Governance Officer will provide technical assistance to
ensure that national and provincial policies and procedures for financial and
performance management are efficiently operationalized at provincial and
district levels of the health system. S/he will work in close coordination and
maintain good working relationship with Provincial and District Health Offices,
implementing partners, health facility, and community stakeholders in the
district.
This position is contingent upon award from USAID.
