Occupational Health and safety institute, located in Kitwe
established under the Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 36 of 2010 is
looking for a suitably qualified and experience Zambia to fill the following position.
VACANCY: CASHIER (1)
PRIMARY OBJECT
To under receipting and payments, maintenance of records to
facilitate accountability and efficient storage and retrieval of information
Key Duties and
Responsibilities
a. Undertakes timely and accurately issuance of receipts to
clients to enhance accountability; ensures timely banking of receipts with 24
hours of receiving cash
b. Undertakes timely payments of petty cash to honor
agreements
c. Prepares and consolidates timely and accurately financial
records in order to facilitate preparation of the financial Statements
d. Able to pre compressively analytical financial reports
e. Prepares and submits timely up-to-date banking records to
facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of Information
f. Maintaining monthly, weekly and daily report of cash
transactions
KEY SELECTION
CRITERIA
Qualifications/Experience
Full Grade 12 Certificate; Diploma in Accountancy/ZICA Tech.
or equivalent; 3 year job experience; Able to prepare comprehensive and
analytical financial reports; Able to communicate effectively in English;
Registered member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants
