The Company seeks the services of a Manager- Sustainable Development Academy

Reporting to the Manger Training and Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, controlling and coordinating all activities at the Sustainable development Academy located at the Mopani Central Training Centre (MCTC) in Mufulira to address the shortfalls and ensure a consistent approach to the management of contractors at Mopani.

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent Social Science

2. Master’s degree would be advantageous

3. At least 10 years’ experience within the HR function in the Mining Industry, 3 years of which should be at superintendent level.

4. At least 10 years of experience in a mining environment at senior supervisory level

5. Demonstrable Knowledge and understanding of labour legislation

6. Knowledge of Labour administration systems

7. Demonstrable success in Huma Resources management and understanding of HR Systems

8. Conversant with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, word, Microsoft project and Power point)

9. Good oral and written Communication skills.

 Key to the success of this portfolio is the incumbent’s ability to work on his/her own initiative, paying particular attention to company polices and corporate objectives.
