The Zambia Research and Development Center (ZRDC) is an
institution with overall goal of contributing to national development through
capacity building and community Development. ZRDC administers the Technology
innovation Grant. The grant is aimed at assisting Zambian youth to develop
Scientific and /or technological innovations, with specific focus on innovation
that are relevant to the creation of wealth with specific focus on innovations that
are relevant to the creation of wealth and employment.
The Zambia research and development center is inviting
Innovations from junior engineering’s, Technicians and scientists, JETS,
Scholars, Engineers, Academicians Scientist, Industrial professional, Technologists and Industry for exhibition in
the 2018 International Multidisciplinary conference (www.multiresearch.net) to be held from
29th to 31st August 2018 at Radisson Blu Hotel
All submissions will be reviewed and the innovator after
should able to exhibit the innovation during the conference. All the selected
innovations after exhibition will be eligible for a Zambia Research and development
center- Science and Technology innovation Grant (ZRDC- STIG)
For the purpose of this grant, an innovation is a new science
and/ or technological idea or an adaptation that would change the way of doing
or making something and whose product or result can be commercialized.
Innovations must be locally developed or adapted and as far
as possible utilizing local raw material, and address such areas as:
1. Value addition to raw materials, engineering,
Manufacturing, and industry, mining
2. Renewable and alternative energy Biotechnology
3. Human and health, agriculture, livestock/fisheries,
fruits preservation/processing
4. Environment, construction and building, Art, Design and
Technology
5. Information and Communication Technology, new emerging
technology
