ROLE PURPOSE
To assist in the monitoring QoS
of licensed networks to the prescribed as prescribed in the QoS framework.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
§
Assists in monitoring the
performance of networks including Quality of Service(QoS) in line with the
license framework and the technical standards
§
Maintains a database
performance indicators for each license
§
Assists in the provision of
periodical performance reports for all licensed operators
§
Provides technical and
maintenance support of the ZICTA QoS equipment
§
Assists ZICTA in responding to
queries regarding QoS measurements
§
Undertakes technical audits
regarding performance of providers with regards to prescribed performance
parameters
§
Performs other related duties
incidental to the work described herein
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
§
At least 2 years’ experience in
the telecommunications sector or industry
§
Minimum Diploma degree in
electronics or electrical engineering or related field

Demonstrated hands-on experience
§
Demonstrated ability to work to
deadlines
§
Demonstrated ability to work with
groups in an inclusive and participatory manner
§

interpersonal skills
