CREDITORS ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (1)
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Overall job purposes: Entry and posting of supplier invoices
(vendor) and make payments due.
Duties and Responsibilities;
§ Ensures
smooth flow of documents and data collection by checking all documents
received.
§ Writes
cheques for suppliers and pay out creditors in accordance to terms and
conditions of the contracts.
§ Posts
invoices for vendors and collection of vendor statements in order to have a
true reflections of vendors accounts.
§ Coordinates
with stores by making follow ups with stores for any pending invoices awaiting
posting and payment.
§ Collection
of tax clearance certificates from vendors in order to comply with ZRA
requirements.
Qualifications;
§ Grade
twelve (12) certificate
§ ACCA
level 2 or its equivalent
§ Minimum
of 2 years’ experience work experience.
Skills/Competencies;
§ Analytical
skills
§ Conversant
with AX systems, Microsoft excel and word
§ Good
interpersonal and communication skills
§ Quick
thinker
§ Internet
literate
