The United Nations world food programme (WFP) seeks to recruit
a qualified, self-motivated and experienced professional to fill the following
position:
Responsibility
. Drive the implementation of WFP Zambia country office social
protection and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) portfolio, specifically oversee implantation
of WFP’s support the Government social safety Nets and Disaster Risk Reduction programmes.
. Serve as focal person with ministry of community
Development and social service and Disaster management and mitigation unit
(DMMU), in implementation of social cash Transfer, other social safety nets and
disaster risk reduction support that contribute to sustainable Development Goal
2: zero Hunger.
. Develop options for framing WFP assistance to national social
protection in country strategic plans for 2019 to 2023
