sports provider seeks to recruit FIVE (5) SPORTS MARKETING AND EXECUTIVE
OFFICERS
SPORTS MARKETING AND EXECUTIVE
OFFICERS will be responsible for coordinating all of the marketing,
communication and promotion activities related to the sports company.
A specialization within the realm
of marketing, sports marketing professionals work to promote sporting events,
teams, and players, as well as a variety of services and products connected to
those teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Will be responsible for a wide
range of marketing, promotion and communication duties. They will be charged
with increasing ticket revenue and attendance at sports events, coordinating
the design and production of marketing materials, coordinating activities and
events with the ticket office, promoting corporate sales and serving as a media
contact. This position is also responsible for writing press releases and
crafting news stories for distribution to media outlets. Maintain team and
individual statistics, coordinate media coverage countrywide of games, and
promote special sports events .will be responsible for marketing and promotion
may also be responsible for securing corporate sponsorship and coordinating
merchandising and licensing agreements.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in
communication, journalism, sports management or sports marketing.
