The University of Lusaka is inviting applications from
suitably qualified candidates who are highly motivated and passionate about
making a mark in the education sector to lecture in the following fields on
full time basis;
1. School Of Health
Sciences
Post:
Lecturers/Senior Lecturers
The candidate must be capable of supervising both undergraduate
and postgraduate students’ research work and should be able to teach a least
three of the listed courses;
. Biostatistics
. Health system
. Public Health research
Qualifications
. Frist Degree in Mathematics and statistics or equivalent
. Master’s Degree in statistics or Biostatistics
. PHD in the relevant field
. A Qualification and experience of lecturing at tertiary
level
2. School of Education, Social Sciences and
Technology
Post: Lecturers/
Senior Lecturers
The Candidate must be capable of teaching at least three of
the listed courses;
. Introduction to higher education and quality assurance
. Education and training policy and legal frame works
. Research Methods
. Role of quality assurance Authority
. Regulation Quality of international providers of Higher
Education
Qualifications
. First Degree in Education or equivalent
. Master’s Degree in education administration
. PHD in Research methods
. Quality Assurance in Education or certification in Quality
Assurance in Education Institutions
. At least five years’ experience in higher education
Authority Organization
3. School of postgraduate
Studies;
The Candidate must be capable of teaching at least three of
the listed courses;

. Transport Modelling
. Highway Planning and Logistics
Qualifications
. First Degree in Transport and logistics Management or
equivalent
. Master’s Degree in Transport and logistics or equivalent
. PhD in the relevant field.
. At least five years’ experience of lecturing at tertiary
level
Summary of Job
Responsibilities
. Develop and improve course outline and teaching materials
for the assigned courses.
. Carry out research and public materials
. Prepare lesson plans at the start of each semester for the
assigned courses.

. Self-Motivated and resourceful with strong intellectual
ability
. Ability to research and create new knowledge
. Should be a goal getter and a team player
. Must be able to work with minimum supervision
. Must be articulate and have strong interpersonal skills
. High Level of planning and organizing skills
. Good computer skills
. Passionate about training
