Mission: To work in collaboration
with the Senior Management Team (SMT) to create a flexible primary program and
ensure that class environment favorable to learning and personal growth; to
establish effective rapport with students; to motivate students to develop
skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for upper
primary in accordance with each student’s ability; to establish good
relationships with parents and other staff members.
Job Summary: Under immediate
supervision by the Primary Coordinator the grade teacher is responsible for
aiding in the implementation of LLP’s (Little Legends Primary) program
according to the Zambian curriculum, our extracurricular activity standards and
our handbook. To coordinate their classes in accordance to LLP’s mission,
vision and core values.
Minimum Requirements:
§
Must be 25 years old and above
§
Must be a Christian with at least
5 years testimony of Christian faith or open to the Christian Faith and willing
to adhere to the LLCC code of conduct which has a Christian basis and is
non-negotiable.
§
Degree in Education
§
Fluent in English, both reading
and writing
§
Minimum of 3 years’ work
experience as a teacher for either grades from 1-7
§
Must have (or be willing to
obtain) training and experience necessary to develop consistent, stable, and
supportive relationships with parents of children in our program.
