VACANCY: Planning, Process & Compliance Lead
BAND: 5
JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for
end to end management of SCM Purchase to pay (P2P), Purchase to Capitalization
(PTC) and related processes and policies ensuring compliance by staff and
partners.
REPORTING TO THE SUPPLY CHAIN
MANAGEMET DIRECTOR, THE ROLE WILL BE
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
1. Effective partner management and contract management
§
Validate vendor on boarding
documents including
§
Review and maintain active vendor
register
§
Work with Sourcing Head to ensure
contract governance is effected for key and critical vendors
§
Ensure Partner evaluations are
conducted annually and corrective plans signed off
2. Financials
§
Validate and share monthly
savings report
§
Review open PO and CWIP reports
3. Compliance
§
Audit champion for SCM
§
Responsible for OPCO SCM
compliance dashboard
§
Manage SCM contract database
4. Systems, Planning & Reporting
§
Communicate various dashboards
and reports to SCMD and SCM HQ
§
Support ERP and CMS users to
obtain required credentials
§
Responsible for preparation of
mandatory month end and other reports including validated savings
§
Liaise with HQ process team for
implementing process improvements
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
§
University degree in Business
Information Systems or Equivalent
§
Graduate Diploma of the Chartered
Institute of Purchasing & Supply (UK) –(added advantage)
§
Internal audit experience –added
advantage
§
Excellent financial accounting
knowledge and able to understand the Annual operating plan, AP and Treasury
processes
§
Excellent Database preparation
and database modification skills using MS Office Products
§
Good knowledge of the Capex &
Opex ordering and tracking systems
§
Good knowledge of compliance and
anti-fraud procedures
Relevant Experience
§
5+ years’ experience in busy
multinational Supply chain/Procurement/commercial environment –Telecom
experience –added advantage
§
Mastery of SCM principles,
policies, concepts and systems
§
Knowledge of Oracle or any other
ERP system and Ms Excel
Other requirements (Behavioral
etc.)
§
Able to handle, prioritize,
multiple projects simultaneously
§
Possess good problem solving
skills
§
