VACANCY: Channel Accounting Manager
LOCATION: Lusaka
JOB PURPOSE
Provide assurance on completeness
of revenue accounting, Debtors management and Credit Control, Retail operations
– Cash Management & Cash Control, Bank Reconciliation Review, MIS &
Reporting and management of channel activities.
REPORTING TO THE FINANCIAL
CONTROLLER, THE ROLE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
§
Management of collection
accounting and Bank Reconciliations
§
Daily Reporting – Retail
Operations
§
Monthly Reporting and
Timely Book Closure
§
Dealer and Other Debtors
Reconciliations
§
Bad Debt Management
§
Billing Process
§
Credit Risk Management
§
Compliance with SOPs
§
People Management and Development
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Educational
Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
§
Full professional qualification
in Accounting – ACCA/CIMA
Relevant Experience (Type of
experience and minimum number of years)
§
6 – 8 years’ experience in
Accounting
§
3 + years in a management
role
Other requirements (Behavioral
etc.)
§
High level of commitment and
resilience
§
Able to deal multiple stakeholder
Management
§
Good Inter personnel skills
§
Cross functional appreciation
§
Business and commercial acumen
§
Ability to align strategies and
systems to business needs
