In the to meet national and global human resource needs in a
Responsible, accountable, Relevant, and Ethical (RARE) way, Mulugushi
University has set itself on a firm expansion trajectory. This has resulted
into the introduction of the School of medicine which will offer a number of
programmes, the Schools of Science, Engineering and Technology which offers engineering
programmes and the Schools of Social Sciences, Education, and Business Studies.
Lectures expected to participate in teaching both (Full time
and distance learning) research, consultancy and service to community.

ADMINISTRATION
Job Purpose for
Lecture positions: Lecture to both undergraduate and postgraduate students
and assists them to undertake research work for successful completion or their
studies. Conduct research, consultancy work and engage in community service
Requirements
1. Full Grade 12 Certificate with05 Credits or better
2. An earned Bachelor’s degree in public administration with
at least a merit or equivalent from a
reputable and accredited University
3. A minimum of Master’s Degree in Public Administration from
a reputable and accredited university
4. Teaching experience is an added advantage
The principal accountabilities for lecturing positions as
follows:
1. Conduct lectures in one or more specialized University
subjects in area of specialization
2. Supervise practical, laboratory, field work, and provide technical
know-how in order to impact skills in students
3. Assist students with research work in order for them to
comprehend fully the subject matter
4. Prepare and participate in preparing examinations papers
5. Mark students’ Oral, practical and written exercises,
assignments and examinations
6. Write bankable research proposals, carry out research,
publish in refereed journals, present papers at conferences and workshops and
engage in consultancy and community service
