Credit Society Organisation (SACCO) registered under the Ministry of Commerce
and Industry. The company has seen phenomenal grow in the last few years and
now seeks to fill the following vacancy:
CREDIT OFFICER
Responsibilities
The Position of the Credit Officer reports directly to Business Development
Manager. The Officer shall be responsible all credit functions as listed below:
Job Description for Credit Officer
§
Ensuring
that all monthly input schedules are invoiced to member organizations adhering
to strict timelines follow up action is made on defaulters.
§
Ensuring
all DDACC forms are verified, captured and submitted to the bank by within
stipulated time lines.
§
Making
follow ups on all dishonoured payments, ensuring that deposits are made, and
appropriate action taken
§
Carry
out regular visits to member organizations for meetings with Focal Point
Persons.
§
Conduct
physical visitations to delinquent individual members and member organizations.
§
Proper
record keeping of all member payroll adjustments in compliance to the
organization loan policy
§
Maintaining
of the savings adjustment and offset register
§
Preparing
monthly debtors report for relevant committees on a timely basis
§
Evaluation
of general member’s credit applications
§
Capturing
of all approved loan applications into the system
§
Any
other duties that may be assigned by Management.
Essential qualifications and experience
§
Degree
in IT/Accountancy or equivalent
§
Credit
and data processing experience will be an added advantage
§
Ability
to work in a team and strong customer focus skills
